Dong's China Buffet

Average buffet fare. I will say it seems cleaner, and more well maintained than usual. Very well stocked.

Love Dongs! I have been goin to eat there since the 90s and their food and restaurant just keep getting better. My favorite food there is the jalapeno chicken, butter shrimp, spring rolls and crab rangoon 🤤

I asked for a sauce container and she yelled at me!!! I came to visit my family because I live in Kentucky. Definitely not coming back anytime soon. Disgusted.

Avoid!! We stopped for lunch on our way back from a trip, the food alone was sub par, most of it tasted thawed out. Service was nice but only because they hardly spoke to us and when they did it wasn't rude. The whole atmosphere was scary as a person of color though! The bathroom walls had "Hail Hitler" written on them and every single person eating there was white and kept staring at us. It definitely did NOT feel safe at all and we tried to get out as soon as possible. Would never go back.

Always good. They keep it stocked and clean. A large variety fried appetizers, soups and main dishes. Typical fried and steamed rice, noodles, a seafood option (differs from lunch to dinner), froglegs on weekends, dessert and icecream machine, and a nice salad bar. Food to satisfy a varied group of people. It's a far better and healthier option than the pizza buffet around the corner. Staff is attentive and friendly.

My family and I have been eating here for over 20 years. Best Chinese food and/or buffet around! Wonderful staff and even better food. My absolute favorites are the walnut chicken and crab rangoon.

This place is great. Food is wonderful and was fresh fresh fresh. The crab ragoons will keep you coming back for more. Full delicious salad bar and soft serve ice cream 😋. Love love this place.

I love this place...went for lunch buffet...large selection of items. Food was hot and fresh. They didn't wait until the items were completely empty to bring out more food.

The restaurant is clean. The staff are very friendly and quick to get your drink refill or clear used dishes. The lettuce mix for the salad bar is unbelievably fresh and crisp. But the food is just OK. I really didn't like the General Tso chicken...I could only taste ketchup in it. I would go again only because my family loves that place.

We came from Indy to try it based on positive reviews. Appeared clean inside. Pretty calm for a Saturday night. Food was pretty good... average like other Chinese buffets I've experienced. Tea tasted off so we switched drinks. I felt nauseous as soon as we left the restaurant. It's now 3am and my husband and I are still getting sick... food poisoning.

Hands down the best Chinese buffet I've been to. Everything is always fresh and you can see many employees bringing out new dishes.

A great Chinese all you can eat buffet. Includes dessert bar, salad bar, seafood bar, dinner bar. There are hot sour and egg drop soups. There is an Ice cream machine in dessert area. Plenty of fresh fruits included. Large dinning areas and a separate large room for gatherings, meetings or events. Food is usually fresh and flavorful. The prices are on the high side, but you get great food and service. Highly recommended for family gatherings.

We love this place!! The food is great. Always a great atmoshpere and the staff are always friendly and inviting.

I have always loved Dong's so I might be a bit biased. Dong's has been a staple in Mooresville for a very long time. Great experience and really good food for $11.50 + drink (+ tip). Awesome.

One of the best buffet style Chinese I've found in all of Indy. Not pretentious, but reasonably priced and consistently serves giant piles of high quality, tasty Chinese and American dishes. The interior and all the furniture was updated recently and is quite tasteful. This is my go-to spot for Chinese buffet.

I thought this was my favorite but childhood memories have failed me. I have been to many Asian buffets from across the nation and there are certain qualities that many of the good ones have mastered. There are three common qualities amongst the best: Authenticity, Freshness, and Variety. This restaurant, during the lunch hours of operation, did not demonstrate good qualities in two of the three; Authenticity being fair and Freshness being poor. Variety was good. This restaurant is ranked overall Fair in the Good, Fair, Poor system.

Very very good however I usually over eat!

My friends and I, (usually a group of three or more), have been going here since middle school, so that’s a good seven years. It’s one of our favorite places. We will keep coming back for sure :)

Nice place. Food is good. Not overly clean and a bit crowded. But it is one of the few places you can go to get all you can eat crab legs!

Jesus man, I can not even begin to explain my love for Dong's. We visit regularly and they have always treated us nice. Not to mention it is the best Chinese buffet I have discovered withing a 30 minute radius. Crab Rangoons are off the charts! Forget the ball game, take me out to Dong's

My family and I eat here about once per month and we are never disappointed. The staff is very attentive and the food is always fresh. They have a variety of food you can try, my favorite is the rice noodles w/teriyaki chicken on top. Unfortunately, we relocated and live far and aren’t able to come once per week like we used to. I highly recommend!!!

How can anyone like this place? They must have not had good food, or good Chinese. This was terrible. The place was a hole in the wall, which I could deal with if the food was actually good. Nothing spectacular about the service. The food was mediocre at best, and I could barely eat one plate as it was already making me sick. The bathroom was disgusting, and I had to use a towel to turn off the faucet, or my hand would have been dirtier than before I washed it. Way too expensive for quality, and there are much better places for less money. 1st time here due to a coupon, and last time here. Yuck all around. Sorry I gave them my money.

Great food!! Very clean worth the Drive! 4 diffrent Food bar plus the desert bar. Only down thing is everything is close together so not much room around the buffet to move. And no sushi. But excellent food. They do have crab legs but they go very fast!

Affordable and good. They're on the cheaper side of Chinese buffets but they are just as good. Their crab rangoon is heavy on the cream cheese which is just how I like it

They even serve pizza for my little one that's very picky the dessert counter is awesome and has a lot to choose from

I've eaten here ever since I was a small child. Used to come here every Sunday after church, and now I just go here whenever. But it's always the same, and always great!
